Beginners only trips

Skiing / Snowboarding for those who've never done it before, maybe never even seen snow before!!

You know how it is; everyone else is off in the mountains having a blast and you don't go because 'you never got the chance to learn'..........here's your chance.

We have 2 beginner weeks lined up, and you can be a skier or a snowboarder on either week.

They are the same as our regular trips except everybody on the trip is an absolute beginner. All the info about the chalet and the holiday in general can be seen here, but in a nut shell;

There is never more than 16 people on each trip, all 20 and 30somethings, all having a good time in a cracking chalet, in the centre of a great town.

Because everybody is a beginner, there is a great sense of camaraderie and there is SO much laughing.

See what the Guardian newspaper had to say about the trip here

What else do I need to fork out for?

- Travel to / from Geneva

Come by plane, train or automobile. If you need a hand, just give us a bell!! Click here

- Snow clothes

Most people beg, borrow and steal from friends...but if you've got no friends or just want your own stuff:- ebay, TK Max, Decathlon and charity shops are the cheapest places to go.

You definitely need:- Jacket, salopettes, gloves, hat, goggles, sunglasses, lip balm, sunscreen

Any questions, just let us know

- Lunch & Dinner

These trips are 'semi-catered'. Breakfast is included and there is enough bread available if you wish to take a pack lunch out with you. Most nights we cook something up in the chalet and split the costs, often working out less than €7 each! If the weather is good (particularly in March) we get the BBQ fired up and cook out in the garden. We tend to eat out first and last nights, but each time we go it's different. Fondue anyone?

- Booze

Some do, some don't....... fancy a half?

Other Activities

We encourage our guests to get as much as possible out of their holiday. We get up to all kinds of stuff after a day on the slopes. Of course you can do as much or or as little as you like, It's your holiday after all!!

ICE SKATING (aprox. £10)

How's your pirouette? We've seen you on the snow, let's get all Torvil and Dean and glide gracefully across the ice. . . . . . . . . well we can try!!

SKI-DOO (aprox. £54)

We head off into the mountains and try and be James Bond. Guided by just the headlight we chase down those bad guys in the snowy forest.....

SLEDGING IN THE BLACK (aprox. £25)

After all the skiers and boarders have gone home, darkness falls and we head up the mountain only to come back down again in the pitch black, with just a head torch, on the slopes, on sledges........it's carnage!

FLOODLIT SKIING (included in your lift pass)

Not had enough skiing / boarding? Every Thursday night the Pléney slope is lit up and the lifts are included in your lift pass.

TANDEM PARAGLIDE (aprox.£70)

The way to see the mountains. It's such an awesome experience to circle like an eagle and fly over the cliffs of Avoriaz and down into the morzine valley. Did I say awesome??
