These are AWESOME weekends away and are perfect whether you are looking to learn to surf, or are already a pro surfer.

We run these trips with the help of the ridiculously good bunch of guys and gals at   

The trips happen in a little place called Mawgan Porth which is just north of Newquay in Cornwall. A really beautiful part of the world. These weekend long surf trips are a great way to get out of the city and do something a bit different.

We stay in a cracking little campsite – the facilities are fairly basic, but there is a bar and we can bbq and just chill right out.

Typical itinerary:

Friday 6pm Climb aboard the h.o.f.n.a.r minibus at Clapham Junction station for the 5.5hr drive down to Mawgan Porth.

Saturday: Breakfast cooked up by your h.o.f.n.a.r rep before joining the gang from Kingsurf for your intro to surfing! Spend the afternoon honing your skills, chilling by the beach OR grab your helmet and let’s go coasteering! Dinner could be either a bbq at the campsite, local fish n’ chips from the local chippy or we could head over to Jamie Oliver’s celebrated ‘Fifteen’ restaurant. A few drinks back at the campsite….? or should we head into Newquay…?

Sunday: After another cracking true English fry up we head back to the water and we’ll definitely stand up on that board today…definitely? Leave in the afternoon to be back in London for 10 pm ish
