My name is Daniel Janes, an Englishman, living in Sussex. Have done university and have done the travelling thing, a bit. I'm resisting the temptation to start work in an office and so this is where the H.O.F.N.A.R. experience comes in.

It is not a fully fledged company as yet. I have, however, been running trips to Morzine since 2003 and we have had some wicked times. The intention is to go away with a small group of like minded young people (not those largin it up on a Spanish island, the rest of us!) for a holiday which is a bit more interesting than just lying on a beach. A holiday where we do stuff during the day, bbq in the evening and possibly even find a few bars!

I became fed up with travelling on the cheap and got fed up paying through the nose for basic comfort. I hope, through H.O.F.N.A.R., to offer a holiday which is great value for money. We stay in a chalet in the centre of town which is SO nice. (It even has a sauna). I keep the groups small so we can be very flexible and if you are travelling alone, it doesn't take long to fit right in.

Since graduating, I have worked for a luxury American travel company, for a French camping company and now I'm driving for the local bus company! For your trip, with the help of a friend, I will be your driver, chef and host. I'm not a mountain guide, I'm not a sports fanatic, but I speak French, I know the area well and guarantee an ace time in the mountains!
